I missed it the first time. A friend of mine had to tell me the exact spot it was in. If you looked away (like I did), you'll miss it too. About two-three minutes in the ep, you see John getting up from bed to head to the bathroom. Camera pans over to the person laying in bed with him...a guy. So John apparently is gay, so what right? Exactly, except they kind of just threw this in our faces and cut to the next scene. As my friend says "It's like Adams doing a line of coke as she wakes up, then goes into the office." John being gay isn't the problem, the problem was how they presented it. It didn't add anything to the story, and it was too short to process anything. Murder-of-the-week was some rich and famous signer getting killed, and everyone thinks the actor husband did it. That's not terribly interesting at all, especially since at the end they show a news clip saying the murderer was caught at LAX. Adams gets in trouble for supposedly leaking crime scene photos to the press, but the show alludes to Russ doing so, for the money. Not terribly interesting either. Having been three eps since Nate died, Sammy finally goes back to work. He decides to chase down one of the bangers who was there the night Nate got killed. They eventually end up at the same spot again, surrounded by Mexican thugs, only to be saved by three squad cars of backup. Sammy's taking this way too hard, and with a baby on the way, is he going to keep playing Robocop? 8/10
