Fringe Season 3 Episode 13 - Immortality

This week brings back Fauxlivia from the other world. From the start you can tell things with her aren't the same. Because of her feelings for Peter? Possibly. The opening story starts mildly interesting, with a random traveler switching another traveler's drink, followed by him puking, followed by a bunch of cockroaches pouring out of the bathroom. This episode also brings back Charlie! Everyone loves Charlie (including the hot bug-girl), but he's dead in our world. According to the other world, cockroaches don't exist at all. We also find out that the other world has also synthesized cortexiphan, and have started testing it on patients, giving theme telekinesis. I do find it funny that the other world uses iPad's for their tablets. We also see Walternate break down over the decision to save his world or not, he breaks down to some random Asian chick. Why they had this scene, I'm not sure. Fauxlivia and Frank (different actor than before?) are now getting married, but what about Peter? Supposedly the cockroaches are to create a cure for avian flu, but for what? This side plot is just boring. At least last week had a power that disintegrated bones. This week? eh. Fauxlivia gets infected with the same parasite, but we find out she's pregnant instead (It's Peter's!). Finally Fauxlivia and Frank break up because she doesn't love him anymore. We also hear that there may be another way to bring Peter back. 8/10 (Main plot gets a 6/10)

Star Wars: Clone Wars Season 3 Episode 17 - Ghosts of Mortis

Clone Wars has been on fire lately, with an awesome battle between Ahsoka, Anakin and Obi-Won; and the Son and Daughter. The Father realizes that he must kill the Son to bring balance back to the Force. Qui-Gon Jin (Liam Neeson is back as a cameo) is back to help Anakin, but quickly disappears. Ahsoka looks quite cute in her Engineering goggles, HA! With Qui-Gon's guidance, Anakin travels to the well of the Dark Side to face the Son. The Son shows Anakin his path to becoming Darth Vader, and hurting everyone around him. Despite knowing he'll do such terrible things, he's tempted to join the Son in stopping it. Obi-Won attempts to save Anakin, but his attempts are futile it seems. It seems strange that Anakin joins with the Son, but this takes place before Revenge of the Sith, before Anakin turns to the Dark Side, hmmm. PLOT TWIST! The Father erases Anakin's memory! We knew this would happen. At the end, we see the Father taking his life, in effort to allow Anakin to kill the Son. The Father passes, giving Anakin a parting message, saying to beware his heart. A great end to a great three parter. 9/10
